OWO-3 was a battle droid who served in the Trade Federation Droid Army, working as a gunner aboard the Trade Federation flagship Saak'ak, a modified Lucrehulk-class LH-3210 cargo freighter. In 32 BBY, shortly before the Invasion of Naboo, Chief Gunner Jull Dremon ordered OWO-3 to destroy the Republic Diplomatic Corps' Consular-class space cruiser Radiant VII while the latter starship rested in the hangar of the Saak'ak. OWO-3 and other battle droid gunners carried out the order with accuracy, with a droid laser turret destroying the Radiant VII.
