Poggle the Lesser

Poggle the Lesser, also known simply as Poggle, was a Geonosian male who served as the Archduke of the Stalgasin hive under hive-minded Queen Karina the Great, and as such served as the public face of the Geonosians during the Clone Wars. Having risen to prominence by gaining oversight of Baktoid Armor Workshop's battle droid factories on Geonosis, Poggle the Lesser became a powerful figure within the Confederacy of Independent Systems and joined the Executive Separatist Council. With his leadership cemented, Poggle soon slayed Archduke Hadiss the Vaulted to take their position for himself, and, shortly thereafter, served as a warlord commander for the Separatist droid armies when the Galactic Republic attacked them during the first and second battles of Geonosis.

As a result of his high-ranking position among the Separatists, Poggle was captured by the Republic during its second invasion of Geonosis. Incarcerated on Coruscant, Poggle was subjected to several rounds of interrogation by Republic Intelligence before being approached by Lieutenant Commander Orson Krennic of the Republic Special Weapons Group, who sought to utilize the Stalgasin hive as a sentient workforce in the construction of a secret battle station. While initially agreeing to provide his drones for the project, Poggle later sabotaged the project and absconded back to Separatist space. In the final days of the Clone Wars, Poggle and the rest of the Separatist Council were relocated to Utapau, and later to Mustafar, where they were all killed by the new Empire's enforcer, Darth Vader.
