Q-4, or Kew-For was a QR-unit droid who piloted the Starcruiser Lourna Dee for the Twi'lek Hutt Clan enforcer Lourna Dee. During a battle at the planet Ballum, Dee ordered Kew-For to bring the Lourna Dee around. The droid was shot by Jedi Master Keeve Trennis but was later repaired by Jedi Kotabi bond-twin Ceret. When the Jedi broke into Shingcu Station, Master OrbaLin reprogrammed Q-4, changing his personality from murderous to pacifist so they could trust him with guarding the Ataraxia. This new programming restrained the droid from being violent, which limited the crew's actions when they needed Q-4 to subdue Muglan Tarantyne's crew of pirates from escaping with kidnapped Jedi Master Sskeer.
