R3-T7 was a R3-series astromech droid manufactured by Industrial Automaton on the planet Nubia years before the start of the Clone Wars in 22 BBY. The droid served the Galactic Republic on a patrol ship before moving into the service of an up-and-coming senator on the planet Coruscant.
After the senator was sent to his homeworld on charges of corruption, the droid was bought by a merchant in Coruscant's Uscru Entertainment District. R3-T7 was eventually attacked, causing frequent memory wipes when it shorted out. The wipes caused it wander around aimlessly until its master collected it. After the droid was abandoned by the merchant, R3-T7 had an unknown fate.
