Resh was a Grand Moff of the reconstituted Sith Empire during the Galactic War with the Galactic Republic. When the Jedi Knight known as the Hero of Tython needed to board the Imperial space station Korriban's Flame to search for fellow Jedi Jomar Chul, the Hero's ally and former Emperor's Wrath Lord Scourge broadcast Resh's clearance codes. This deceived the station's crew into believing that the group's Defender-class light corvette belonged to the Grand Moff.
