Resinn was a prosecutor in the Alliance to Restore the Republic who served aboard the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Independence during the Galactic Civil War. Shortly before the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, Resinn led the prosecution of the Hurrim pirate leader Golov Nakhym after he was arrested by Alliance forces for opening fire on civilian ships during a joint raid on an Imperial convoy. In preparation for the case, Alliance High Command sent an e-mail to all personnel requesting anybody with information on the Hurrim's previous activities to contact Resinn.
