Sannen

Sannen was a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order who served as a Jedi General in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars, a pan-galactic conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. In 21 BBY, Sannen commanded Republic forces alongside his fellow Jedi, Colonel Tyneir Renz, during a battle on the moon Parein II 4. Their forces were crushed in a charge led by the Separatist General Grievous astride his Tsmeu-6 personal wheel bike. Sannen encountered Grievous for the first time and bravely attempted to subdue him for the Republic. Before he could duel Grievous, Sannen was jabbed in the throat with an electrostaff by one of Grievous's IG-100 MagnaGuards, which killed him. Sannen's death indicated to many that the MagnaGuards were capable of defeating Jedi.
