Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.
A clone of Sate Pestage was created by the original Sate Pestage in preparation for his retreat to Byss. When this rapidly gestated clone developed clone madness, Emperor's Hand Sarcev Quest abandoned it to the Imperial Ruling Council and Ysanne Isard. The clone of Pestage was killed by Delak Krennel on Ciutric IV in 5 ABY, while the real Pestage was killed when the Galaxy Gun destroyed Byss in 11 ABY.
