Suunfuus

Suunfuus, known formally as Brother Suunfuus, was an Ithorian, male scientist. He became trapped aboard the Gorgorror, a biotechnological ship that captured ships in order to sustain itself. He eventually joined forces with Yele l'Ecumeuse, Daymon Thorn, and Lyoon in an attempt to escape the ship. During their escape, Lyoon did not make it, and the remaining three found large, blue crystals called Korendums. They each took a crystal and escaped the Gorgorror; then went their separate ways.

Suunfuus came to live on the volcanic planet Brazadann where he sought to improve the lives of his fellow men. He offered up part of his crystal to Oriadann, the twin planet of Brazadann, to be used as an energy source. Unfortunately, the power of the crystal was poorly controlled and all its energy was released at once, completely destroying Oriadann. Consumed with guilt, Suunfuus locked away the other part of the crystal in a crypt and searched for redemption at the sacred and mystical Great Worms Cemetery. It was there that he would enter the bowels of a deceased lava worm as a way of purifying himself.

He remained inside the worm until a group of Rebels found him. They informed him that Daymon Thorn was after his Korendum and planned to use it as a weapon. Willing to help them, they left the cemetery and were about to make their way back to the City but were ambushed by the Salamander Warriors who challenged them to a competition called the Dance of the Worm. After the Rebels won, the group returned to Brazadann City in the midst of an assault by Daymon Thorn. The group made their way to the crypt where Suunfuus had locked the Korendum away. He opened it and placed an anti Korendum in contact with the crystal to dissipate its energy. The Rebels the proceeded to defend the crystal from Daymon Thorn and his forces while Suunfuus took cover. The Rebels managed to defeat Thorn and protect the crystal, allowing the dissipation process to complete.
