Thorpe was a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order who created the Unsolved Thorpe Theorem, a hyperspace plotting conundrum which was posed to Jedi Padawan learners. Their work was included in one of the sacred Jedi texts kept by Jedi Master Luke Skywalker during his exile on the planet Ahch-To. The books were eventually taken by the Jedi Rey in 34 ABY.
