Phases of Mortis

Canon Linked from 3 articles

The Phases of Mortis was a solution to the Unsolved Theorem of Master Thorpe, a hyperspace plotting conundrum created by the Jedi Master Thorpe. They shared their name with the ethereal realm of Mortis, the fulcrum of both the galaxy and the Force. A hand-drawn diagram of the phases was later annotated by authors including Jedi Master Odan-Urr, before eventually being included in a book within Jedi Master Luke Skywalker's collection of sacred Jedi texts on the planet Ahch-To. The collection was later taken by the Jedi Rey in 34 ABY. The painting of the Mortis gods on the planet Lothal, which depicted the Force wielders who occupied Mortis, featured similar circular designs and coloration. A book describing objects relating to galactic history contained an entry on the sacred Jedi texts, which depicted the Phases of Mortis.
