During the early years of the New Order that had been founded in 19 BBY, the wife of Jedi Knight Tyneir Renz was murdered by the Galactic Empire alongside their son during a massacre at their homeworld Jiaan, in retaliation for Renz's escape from the Great Jedi Purge. Though Renz had not arrived in time to save his wife and son, he managed to save their daughter, Padija Anjeri, from the massacre.
