Uda-Khalid was a humanoid mass killer active during the Great Peace of the Republic. The criminal murdered members of a wide range of species in pursuit of power, but was able to escape justice due to his policy of never leaving survivors, which erased any evidence of his actions. Between approximately 58 BBY and 44 BBY, the Jedi High Council dispatched the Jedi Knight Mace Windu to serve justice upon Khalid, who had retreated to a jungle fortress.

Windu confronted Khalid inside the latter's headquarters, where the murderer initially believed Windu to be a bounty hunter and continued to deny any wrongdoing. Windu revealed that he knew of the humanoid's crimes as he became surrounded by the spirits of Khalid's many victims. Khalid challenged the Jedi to a duel, wielding a pair of fire blades against Windu's lightsaber. The duel between the two was brief, resulting in a victory for Windu when he stabbed Khalid directly in his heart.
