An individual served as bureau chief of a law enforcement agency that operated in the city Efavan on the Outer Rim planet Vorzyd V during the High Republic Era. Around 231 BBY, while posing as a member of the fictitious Efavan Major Homicides and Secret Investigations Department in order to access a crime scene in Efavan, Jedi investigator Emerick Caphtor threatened to contact the bureau chief if a Cyclorrian sergeant of the agency did not provide Caphtor and his companion—Galactic Republic private investigator Sian Holt—the rundown of the scene. The sergeant ultimately complied with the Jedi's request.
