A member of a rock-encrusted species native to the terrestrial body Hurikane in Wild Space encountered the Jedi Padawan Mace Windu in approximately 58 BBY. The creature fell off a cliff while pursuing Windu, upsetting his companions. Windu regretted his actions and used The Force to heal the native, for which he was rewarded with Hurrikaine crystals, which he used to build his first lightsaber.
