Unidentified rookie slicer

A rookie slicer was active by the time of the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. By around 3643 BBY, he was attempting to sabotage a droid manufacturing company. As a result of the slicer's actions, several units of one of the manufacturer's droid models, the R1-M8 service droid, began malfunctioning and attacking their owners.

Around that year, an individual associated with one of the two opposing factions of the Cold War sent a companion to learn the cause of the malfunctioning R1-M8 service droids. The companion traced the malfunction back to the slicer, who was arrested.
