Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

A rug weaver was the parent of the Mandalorian male Mandalore the Binder, who was born on Harswee, a world known for its luxurious loom-woven carpet exports. At some point between 7000 BBY and 60 BBY, their son rose to become the Mandalore, the traditional ruler of the Mandalorian clans. Mandalore the Binder was remembered alongside the rug weaver in Ba'jurne Kyr'tsad Mando'ad, a manifesto supposedly written by Tor Vizsla, the leader of the Mandalorian splinter group known as Death Watch—although the group's opponent Jango Fett questioned the authenticity of Vizsla's authorship. At some point between 0 BBY and 4 ABY, Jango's bounty hunter son Boba Fett included the manifesto in the book The Bounty Hunter Code.
