Wyl Lark

Wyl Lark was a human male Polynean politician who represented the planet Polyneus in the Galactic Senate of the New Republic and a starfighter pilot who, as part of the Hundred and Twenty, served the Rebel Alliance and later, the New Republic Defense Force, in the Galactic Civil War. As part of Alphabet Squadron, he was instrumental in the hunt for and eventual defeat of the feared 204th Imperial Fighter Wing.

Born on the isolated Inner Rim world of Polyneus―known simply to its inhabitants as "Home"—Lark was one of the volunteers that were sent from Polyneus to join in the fight against the Galactic Empire. He flew an A-wing starfighter as part of Riot Squadron, until shortly after the Battle of Endor, when that squadron was decimated by the 204th, known as "Shadow Wing," in the Oridol Cluster. Lark was recruited by Caern Adan to serve on the New Republic Defense Fleet working group to target Shadow Wing, which would become known as Alphabet Squadron.

Lark flew under Alphabet in its skirmishes with Shadow Wing at Pandem Nai and Cerberon, and was later promoted to wing commander of the Deliverance starfighter wing. After narrowly surviving a starfighter duel with Soran Keize during Shadow Wing's attack on Chadawa, Lark relinquished his command.

Nevertheless, he helped prevent the sabotage and outright destruction of the Deliverance during the Battle of Jakku. Returning to Home as a war hero, Lark was appointed the planet's senator in the New Republic Senate.
