Zherriak

Zherriak was a Wookiee who hailed from the planet Kashyyyk. For a long time, they lived a peaceful life, maintaining a close friendship with their hunting partner, the Wookiee Liak, with whom they had sworn an honor bond. At some point by 2 ABY, Zherriak was killed during an Galactic Empire enslavement raid. Afterward, Liak and several other Wookiees managed to overpower the Imperials and steal their starship to escape their captors. While many of the surviving Wookiees returned to Kashyyyk after the raid, Liak, bent on avenging his friend, instead turned to the Rebel Alliance and offered his services to them.
