During their crusade to conquer the galaxy in 25 ABY, the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong attacked and conquered the Ciutric system in the Outer Rim following their assault on the Bimmiel system. After the attack on Ciutric, the Yuuzhan Vong advanced along the Veragi Trade Route to the adjacent Vinsoth system, which they also assaulted. The Ciutric system thereafter became part of the Yuuzhan Vong empire, and remained as such until the Yuuzhan Vong's defeat in 29 ABY.
