Yuuzhan Vong empire

The Yuuzhan Vong empire was a theocracy ruled by the Yuuzhan Vong over the galaxy, a extra-galactic species from another galaxy. Established from the advanced foothold in the Unknown Regions for its approaching ships, centuries later, the Yuuzhan Vong conquered much of the galaxy and ruled from Coruscant, renamed Yuuzhan'tar.

After several decades of preparations, the Yuuzhan Vong fleet swiftly took much of the Outer Rim. Opposed by the New Republic, the Yuuzhan Vong launched a devastating invasion of the galaxy.

After the war, the remains of the empire were relegated to the living planet of Zonama Sekot, which then disappeared into the Unknown Regions, while some Yuuzhan Vong remained in the galaxy.
