During the Galactic Civil War as a part of Operation Ringbreaker, 20 soldiers of the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry launched an attack on the Kuliquo belt in 3 ABY, an Imperial mining asteroid field. The soldiers were personally selected by Captain Hazram Namir to sabotage machinery located in an airless and lightless death trap.
