Battle of Naator

During the Galactic Civil War, the Alliance to Restore the Republic's 61st Mobile Infantry fought a battle against the Empire in the mountains of the Mid Rim planet Naator in 3 ABY. The battle was part of the 61st's campaign Operation Ringbreaker, which targeted a number of weaker Imperial targets in hopes of forcing military redeployments from the Empire's Kuat Drive Yards to leave its defenses weakens for an attack. The 61st won the battle, sustaining some casualties between that conflict and the following battle at the celestial body Xagobah, but the rebel unit ultimately did not complete Operation Ringbreaker.
