During the intergalactic Yuuzhan Vong's invasion of the galaxy between 25 and 29 ABY, which was known as the Yuuzhan Vong War, they attacked the Tangrene system. Taking place at some point between 25 ABY and 26 ABY, the strike took place following an attack on the Edusa system, after which the Yuuzhan Vong traveled along a hyperlane connecting the Edusa system and the Tangrene system.
