Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

A galaxy was distant from the galaxy and was one of hundreds of billions of galaxies in the known universe. It was known as the ancestral home of the Yuuzhan Vong species, who referred to it as the "ancestral galaxy."

This galaxy once was home to a vast number of sentient species; including the Yuuzhan Vong from the homeworld of Yuuzhan'tar, the reptoid Chazrach, and the Silentium and the Abominor droid civilizations, along with their creators. However, the Yuuzhan Vong killed off all of them in acts of genocide, save the Chazrach, whom they instead enslaved.
