Attempted assassination on Garik Loran

The attempted assassination of Garik Loran took place on the planet Coruscant in 44 ABY. As Garik Loran left the Galactic Alliance Navy Command Complex in his black airspeeder, he was tailed by three assassins: a Human, a Sullustan, and an Aqualish. Realizing he was being followed, Loran led them into a crowded pedestrian market, where he lost sight of the Human while the Aqualish and Sullustan pursued him on foot. Loran killed both pursuers with a vibroblade before returning to his airspeeder. As the vehicle rose three meters to the air, it exploded due to the explosive package that had been planted aboard while the other two assassins served as a distraction.
