Attempted hijacking of the Regal Zephyr

Canon Linked from 4 articles

An attempted hijacking took place aboard the Regal Voyager passenger transport Regal Zephyr within the Slice in 33 BBY. While the starship traveled along the Ootmian Pabol hyperspace route to the planet Coruscant, a group of criminals—The Lobber, Ghor, and Wungo—attempted to take control of it for one of the pirate gangs in the region, though they could not agree on which. Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, who were traveling aboard the Regal Zephyr, intervened and talked the criminals out of hijacking the vessel. The Jedi let the criminals live, throwing them off the ship at its next stop on Randon. Although the hijacking was unsuccessful, it proved to be a rarity—unknown to the three criminals, Riftwalkers leader Zilastra had ensured none of the Slice's pirate gangs attacked Regal Voyager as part of a scheme to assassinate the other pirate leaders.
