During the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire, a battle occurred above the planet Hypori when Imperial forces attacked the prototype "Gilded Meteor" bomber on its maiden voyage. Republic forces successfully defended the bomber with the aid of the Coruscant Aegis squadron.
