The Coruscant Aegis was an elite attack squadron of the Galactic Republic's navy active during the Cold War and Galactic War with the reconstituted Sith Empire. The unit's initial mission was to undertake space-based missions to quell illegal Imperial attacks against Republic assets seeking to provoke a breach of the terms of the Treaty of Coruscant and reignite hostilities between the two factions. The squadron's missions were conducted across the entirety of the galaxy.
