In 25 ABY, during the Yuuzhan Vong War between the Yuuzhan Vong species and the New Republic, the Yuuzhan Vong conquered the planet Agamar. The attack was ordered by Commander Shedao Shai and executed by Deign Lian as a feint to attack the New Republic at Ithor. The invasion of Agamar occurred just pror to the Battle of Ithor. Unable to stop the Yuuzhan Vong, the New Republic evacuated most of the population before the invasion.
