Boonta Eve

Boonta Eve was an annual Hutt holiday and festival celebrated on the desert planet of Tatooine during the last decades of the Old Republic and the time of the New Republic. It honored the rise of Boonta Hestilic Shad'ruu to godhood. In Mos Eisley, it was celebrated with fireworks. Just outside Mos Espa the annual Boonta Eve Classic race was held to commemorate the holiday.
