Decimation on Magnus Horn

Canon Linked from 3 articles

The decimation on Magnus Horn took place sometime prior to 3 ABY, where the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry suffered heavy casualties on the terrestrial astronomical object Magnus Horn. After the decimation, the Alliance tried to reassign the surviving troopers to other units, but the 61st's captain, Micha Evon, fought to keep his soldiers together and to save the company from obliteration.

In 3 ABY, after Evon and some of his officers were killed, the rebel soldier Hazram Namir compared the losses to the decimation on Magnus Horn and the massacre at the terrestrial world Asyrphus, both of which he viewed as a blow to the company. The decimation on Magnus Horn and Evon's actions in the wake of it were also brought up by Pol Andrissus, another trooper of the 61st, in a conversation during the captain's funeral.
