Trooper

Troopers, sometimes referred to as troops or grunts, were soldiers who served in a military force.

Examples of troopers throughout galactic history included the Galactic Republic troopers of the Republic Defense Coalition who got their first taste of real combat during the Nihil conflict, the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic, who were bred on the planet Kamino using the genetic template of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett, the stormtroopers of the Galactic Empire, who were elite troops deployed on the frontlines and stationed aboard installations such as Star Destroyers, the Alliance troopers of the Rebel Alliance, the stormtroopers of the First Order, and the Resistance troopers of General Leia Organa's Resistance.
