Gala on Waskiro

A gala on the Outer Rim planet Waskiro was hosted by the Royal House of Jadalla in 228 BBY in honor of Marchion Ro, leader of the Nihil, who occupied the planet at that time. The event was emceed by a master of ceremonies who welcomed Ro and helped to curry favor between Ro and Waskiro's king, Sokidharan. With him, Ro brought a group of his She'ar and the Great Leveler.

The gala was infiltrated by a team of Republic operatives consisting of Jedi Masters Avar Kriss and Keeve Trennis, the Sephi Tey Sirrek, and bounty hunters Lourna Dee and Quin Carree, who sought information as to the whereabouts of the abducted Jedi Master Sskeer and the Nihil's Minister of Advancement Baron Boolan. When Vulax, a member of the She'ar, recognized Sirrek, he confronted him on a balcony. In the resulting melee, Vulax and another She'ar died at the hands of the Jedi and Sirrek.

Inside the gala, Lourna Dee, a former Tempest Runner in the Nihil, engaged Ro in a dance. The two hashed out their differences, eventually resulting in Dee biting Ro in the neck, severely wounding him. In his rage, Ro ordered the slaughter of the gala's attendees and the bombing of the surrounding city.
