Hunt for Okala Five

A hunt for the coordinates to the moon of Okala Five had been initiated during 3 ABY by the Alliance to Restore the Republic and Kay Vess' crew, in an effort to recover it from the bandit group Starfallers and later the Imperial Governor Thorden. After Thorden manipulated the outlaw Kay Vess to allow the Starfallers to steal the map to Okala Five from an eminent sabacc tournament, the Rebel member Lando Calrissian would convince Kay Vess' crew to join him in intercepting the map from being delivered to Thorden.

By gaining intel from the former Imperial bookkeeper, Bosnok, Kay Vess and her merqaal partner-in-crime, Nix, would start by looking for the Starfaller leader Aksali Noll on Toshara. Vess would eventually discover that the Starfallers are attempting to sell the map to the Galactic Empire, with the outlaw finding the location of the exchange through an Imperial listening outpost. When Vess arrived at the location, she would be entangled within an Imperial raid to forcibly take the map, with the Empire extracting the map away from Vess and the Starfallers.

Though Calrissian considered the map as lost, Vess would be able to learn the new location of the map after rescuing the captured Noll from the Empire. At the Tosharan capital of Mirogana, Calrissian would create and execute a plan to arrange a handover meeting with Thorden, and smuggle Vess inside the Mirogana Spaceport within a crate claimed to be volatile Tolium gas. As the Rebel stalled the Governor in an extensive conversation, Vess would progress through the Spaceport and later infiltrate Thorden's bunker. Arriving at the terminal of the bunker, Vess would extract the map from the data archive, and detonate the entire facility to create a distraction for Calrissian. Ultimately, she would be able to escape from the base and entrust the map to Calrissian.
