Three invasions of Naboo were launched in the months following the Battle of Endor by the Galactic Empire against the Mid Rim planet of Naboo. Because Naboo had been Emperor Palpatine's homeworld, the planet became a rallying point for Imperial sympathizers. The Imperial Navy deployed three attack forces to wipe out the New Republic presence in the system, but the attempts were foiled by Corona Squadron, an X-wing squadron of the New Republic Defense Fleet. During the siege, the New Republic's defense force was assisted by Imperial defectors giving tips on Imperial tactics.
