Khepi Expedition

Khepi Expedition was a mission to research the Sayma Nebula in the Khepi system of Wild Space. It occurred during the Imperial Era and included Professor Gil Orum from the Imperial Science Academy. By the tenth day of the expedition, Orum had hired locals at Hauler's Keep, a space station in the system, to rig up improvised magnetoshields for their starship allowing it to penetrate the outer layers of the nebula. Within it, the expedition team encountered another ship drifting through space before it abruptly vanished. Orum later wrote in their journal that they would have questioned their sanity if the rest of the crew had not witnessed the same thing.
