During the Clone Wars, Senator Padmé Amidala undertook a mission to the planet Scipio to take out a loan, but in truth, sought to uncover evidence of corruption within the InterGalactic Banking Clan. Amidala and her old flame, Baron Rush Clovis, became targeted by the bounty hunter Embo, who was hired by the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. Unbeknownst to them, Embo wasn't tasked with killing anyone, but to intimidate and drive Clovis off-world, as part of Sidious' plans for the Banking Clan.
