Occupation of Corellia

During the First Order-Resistance War, Corellia was subject to an occupation after it was conquered by the First Order, which wanted to claim the planet, its shipyards, and its factories in 34 ABY. Most Corellians displayed scorn at being subject to the occupation but quickly accepted the new reality. The First Order at some point had also annexed control over the Corellian Engineering Corporation.
In 35 ABY, after the First Order joined with the Sith Eternal and its fleet, the Final Order, and were defeated in the Battle of Exegol, Corellia was in open rebellion against the First Order.
