Canon Linked from 3 articles
A civil war was waged in the Virgillia system between the Alliance to Restore the Republic-allied Virgillian Free Alignment and the Galactic Empire-backed Virgillia government.
After both this conflict and the wider rebellion against the Emperor's end, the Virgillia system became a strong supporter for the Leia Organa's Resistance within the New Republic.
