Balmorra Run

The Balmorra Run was an old smuggler's route that ran through the hazardous Kaliida Nebula, which posed dangers to travelers due to the giant space-dwelling neebray mantas that nested there. Anakin Skywalker and his Shadow Squadron took the route as a shortcut to intercept the Separatist cruiser Malevolence under the command of General Grievous before it could attack the Kaliida Shoals Medical Center during the Clone Wars.

While traveling on the route, the group unexpectedly encountered the Neebray mantas nested there. Matchstick's bomber sustained a minor chip after running into a manta and it later caused his bomber to explode when evading the Malevolence ion cannon.
