The Bnar system was a part of the Braxant sector, located in the New Territories portion of the Outer Rim Territories. It contained the astronomical object Bnar VII.
The career of the slaver Tir'uh, which by the time of the Galactic Civil War spanned decades, saw her operate within an area of the galaxy spanning from Bnar VII, in the northern section of the galaxy, to Kessel, a planet in the galaxy's eastern portion. Between 4 ABY and 12 ABY, the Bnar system was situated in the borders of the Pentastar Alignment, and it fell within the territory controlled by the Imperial Remnant between 18 ABY and 35 ABY.
