The Cina system was a star system in the galaxy that was the site of a spaceport built into an asteroid. During the first year of the Galactic Empire, the former Sith Lord Maul sought passage from the Cina system to the planet Janix. While at the spaceport, a human welcomed Maul aboard their ship to offer the Zabrak clandestine passage to Janix. While showcasing their ship's capabilities, Maul stated that he would take the ship before murdering the individual, commandeering their vessel, and leaving the Cina system.
