The Cordota system was located in the Mid Rim Territories and the Slice, within the Lantillian sector. It was situated in grid square P-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid and connected via a hyperspace route to the Bracca and Lantillies systems. The star system contained the terrestrial celestial body Cordota. At the start of journalist Rhil Dairo's career, in the High Republic Era, she worked as a cub reporter covering micro-g basket weaving on Cordota at the behest of her producer, among other stories.
