The Epo system was situated in the Ciutric sector of the Outer Rim Territories and New Territories within grid square N-5 of the Standard Galactic Grid. It contained the planet Epo, which itself contained Ansett Island where the Battle of Ansett Island took place. During the battle, the First Order Company 77 of stormtroopers was ordered to kill a group of civilians at some point between approximately 27 and 33 ABY. The entire company refused to carry out the order and subsequently deserted, escaping aboard a cruiser that members of the company eventually took to the Endor system.
