The Gymelo system was a part of the Bakura sector of the Outer Rim Territories and Wild Space. It contained the celestial body Gymelo. In his youth, the Human Bix Arden-Govia left behind his homeworld, the nearby planet Bakura, and signed on as a ship's boy aboard a freighter out of Gymelo, eventually returning home from his travels at some point by 4 ABY.
