The Hadi system was located in the Kalamith sector within an intersecting portion of the Outer Rim Territories and the New Territories and situated at the coordinates P-5 on the Standard Galactic Grid. In 3 ABY, the D'Armin Syndicate attacked a supply ship of the Tagge Corporation, a company run by the House of Tagge and led by Lady Domina Tagge. News of the attack spread to the Hadi system, causing a drop for the Tagge Corporation there, which was noticed by Lady Tagge the next day. After Tagge's secretary, Lapin Tagge, filled her in on the attack, she ordered them to have a battleship cut off and deal with the D'Armin Syndicate forces at the celestial body Feriae Junction.
