Iego system

The Iego system was located in the Ash Worlds sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It contained the planet Iego and its one thousand moons. Early in the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Separatists occupied Iego and installed a laser web in its moons which left anyone on the planet unable to leave. The web remained in place until the Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived seeking the cure for the deadly Blue Shadow Virus. Upon deducing what was going on, they and the astromech droid R2-D2 used repurposed vulture droids to deactivate the deadly security system, ending the "curse" of Iego.
