Malastare system

Canon Legends version → Linked from 45 articles

The Malastare system was a star system located in the Dustig sector of the galaxy's Mid Rim. It contained the planet Malastare, homeworld of the Dug species.

Sometime before the Clone Wars, a corporate fleet under the command of Harch Admiral Trench blockaded Malastare. However, the blockade was later broken by a Galactic Republic task force commanded by Jedi Master Kep-She and Wullf Yularen. Later, during the second year of the war, the Confederacy of Independent Systems invaded Malastare in order to claim the planet's Malastarian fuel reserves to feed their navy. Despite their efforts, the Separatists were prevented from claiming the planet with the detonation of the Republic's electro-proton bomb, which deactivated the entire droid army.
