Manoe sector

The Manoe sector was located in the New Territories portion of the Mid Rim. By 0 ABY, the Manoe sector bordered the Dohu sector Rimward, the Luuq and Vadigult sectors Coreward, and the Bright Jewel sector in the trailing direction. Spinward, the Manoe sector formed a three-way border with the Abaar and Tiala sectors. The sector retained these borders by 12 ABY, when it constituted a part of the New Republic.

The northern portion of the Manoe sector contained the Manoe system, which was linked by a hyperspace route to the Dohu and Vadigult sectors. It also contained the Grehollo system, home to the small, rocky moon Captivity. During the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire maintained the Grehollo station military base in the Grehollo system. The Empire also used Captivity as a prison by exiling prisoners onto the moon's surface.

At one point, the Rebel Alliance carried out a successful mission to liberate the politically important exiles of Captivity.
